Bakpao itself is a typical Chinese food made from flour dough and how to make it steamed. In Indonesia, this one food is often found on the side of the road and is sold in a variety of flavors.

  • 250 gr Wheat flour
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 150 ml Water
  • 1 tbsp White butter
  • 1 tbsp Yeast
  • 1/2 tbsp Salt
  • Chocolate jam


  • Dissolve sugar into 150ml of water
  • Combine the flour and yeast and stir
  • Pour the sugar water into the flour little by little
  • Knead the dough until smooth, adding white butter and salt
  • Divide the flour into several parts as desired
  • Then knead according to the desired shape and add the chocolate jam in it
  • Transfer to a baking sheet and let stand for 20 minutes while covered with a cloth
  • After 20 minutes then remove the steaming and cook over medium heat – + 10 minutes
  • Remove the dumplings and ready to serve.
