INGREDIENTS
- 1 L Thin coconut milk
- 400 ml Thick coconut milk
- 250 gr Black sticky rice
- 1 tbsp Salt
- 4 Sheets equivalent leaves
- 100 gr Sugar
- 150 gr Java sugar
- 100 ml Water
INSTRUCTIONS
- Pour 1 liter of thin coconut milk in a saucepan over medium heat
- Add 3 pandan leaves and salt then stir until boiling
- After boiling, enter the black sticky rice then stir
- After the sticky rice is mixed with coconut milk then cover the pan containing the sticky rice and coconut milk, then wait 25 minutes
- After 25 minutes, turn off the stove and wait for 20 minutes
- The next step is to make brown sugar. Put the brown sugar, granulated sugar and 100ml of water in a saucepan over medium heat then mix well. After boiling then turn off the stove
- Strain the sugar water on the sticky rice that has been resting for 25 minutes
- Cook the sticky rice again for 7 minutes, stirring it so that the sugar is mixed
- The next step is making coconut milk sauce. Add 400ml thick coconut milk, 1 pandan leaf, and ½ tpsp salt over low heat. Stir until it boils and turn off the stove
- Take a bowl then add the black sticky rice and add the coconut milk sauce according to your taste. The black sticky rice porridge is ready to be served.
