Chicken katsu is one of the most popular foods today. With a crunchy and savory taste, this one food is a must try. What's more, with a spicy addition like sambal matah, it's certainly delicious. Therefore, this recipe will invite friends to make their own chicken katsu at home. Come on!

INGREDIENTS
  

  • Cooking oil
  • 2 Chicken fillets
  • 1 Egg
  • Multipurpose flour
  • Bread flour
  • Flavoring
  • 1 tbsp Pepper
  • 8 Cloves of red onion
  • 2 Cloves of garlic
  • 25 Red bird's eye chilies
  • 2 Lemongrass
  • 6 Lime leaves
  • 1 Lime
  • Salt according to taste
  • Sugar according to taste

INSTRUCTIONS
 

  • Combine 1 clove of ground garlic, pepper, flavor, and water. Then use it to soak the chicken fillets for 1 hour
  • After 1 hour, prepare the beaten eggs and all-purpose flour. Then coat the chicken fillet with egg then flour
  • Heat the stove and fry until browned
  • Next is making sambal matah
  • Slice shallots, garlic, lemongrass, chilies, and lime leaves. Put in one container
  • Then flush using hot oil. Then add salt, sugar, and flavorings according to taste. Then stir until blended
  • Put the chicken katsu on the plate then add the chili sauce according to the taste
  • Chicken katsu sambal matah ready to be served.
